To the One Who Never Knew ✉️šŸ„€

Image
You never knew what you were to me. To the world, you were ordinary, just a person who was nice to everyone. But to me, you were the one place where I could exist without pretending. You never asked me to become someone else. You accepted every version of me: the quiet one, the excited one, the curious one, the one who laughed too much, the one who talked to myself, the one who got mad too often but still forgot it after five minutes because I've got the memory of a goldfish, and the one who carried storms behind a smile. That's why I never imagined losing you, thinking that you would always be mine forever. I keep replaying every conversation in my head, wondering if I said something I shouldn't have, if I stayed too long, spoke too much, misunderstood something, or simply failed to notice the moment everything began to change. The cruelest part isn't the goodbye. It's not knowing where I lost you. If I disappointed you, I wish I had known sooner. If I ...

Anime Through My Pencil ✏️✨

Image
Everyone thinks anime is "just a cartoon." Not gonna lie, I used to think the same way. After all, many of us began our anime journey with Doraemon playing on the television, watching it for hours without even realizing it was anime. The same goes for Ninja Hattori and Kiteretsu. They were a part of our childhood before we even knew what the word anime meant. But when I consciously stepped into the world of anime, I realized it was so much more than animated entertainment. It explores science, philosophy, psychology, mythology, history, politics, friendship, loss, hope, and countless other aspects of life through beautifully written stories and unforgettable characters. Looking back, I'm truly grateful that I found my way into this incredible world of imagination. This corner of my blog is where my passion for anime meets my love for art. Here, I'll be sharing the characters that inspired me, the sketches they became, and the stories that made them unforgettable. Whe...

The Day My Voice Stopped Shaking 🄲

Image
Today wasn’t just another college event. It was a think tank session, where ideas were meant to shape the future of the college and the well-being of its students. But somewhere between discussions and suggestions, something unexpected happened to me. We had a jamming session. And somehow… I was pushed to sing. That alone was enough to make my heart race. Singing in front of people has never been easy for me. Every time I try, my breathing betrays me. My voice trembles. My confidence slips away before I even reach the chorus. But today, I said yes. I decided to sing my own song,  The lost promise The moment I started, I could feel it. My voice shaking. My chest tightening. The fear was loud, louder than my own singing. I noticed it so clearly that I instinctively pulled the mic away, as if distance could hide my fear. For a second, I thought I would stop. But I didn’t have to face it alone. And then, my Professor stepped in and played the karaoke track of my song. And s...

If freedom had no boundaries (Part 2) ⛓️‍šŸ’„šŸ’„

If something has a positive side, it also carries its own negatives. In many cases, the disadvantages can outweigh the advantages, making it difficult for such a system to sustain in this world. Firstly, I think society would fall into complete chaos. Without rules, everything would become unstable and disorganized. The economy itself would collapse because there would be no structure to regulate demand and supply, no fixed value for money, and no authority to maintain balance. People might start taking whatever they want without giving anything in return, which would completely destroy the concept of exchange and fairness. Along with economic collapse, social order would begin to break down. Even now, when laws and regulations exist, crime rates continue to rise in many places. This shows that rules, though not perfect, still play a crucial role in maintaining order. If everyone were allowed to act entirely according to their free will, without any restrictions, the situat...

If Freedom Had No Boundaries (Part 1) ✨

Image
This is a new question asked by my professor today, and I’ve never thought about it before. I’ve thought about what it would be like if I got the freedom I need, but not about the entire world gaining freedom. When I started thinking about this, a ton of thoughts came rushing into my mind like waves crashing onto the shore. I wouldn’t call my mind a golden shore though, more like just a handful of sand, because as they say in Tamil, katrathu kai mann alavu šŸ˜‚. But in this blog, I’ve compiled a few of my thoughts about what would happen if it actually did. Firstly , I’ll be talking about the advantages of this. Of course, as you all know, the advantages are plenty, but the disadvantages might be even more. I would love to roam the entire world freely because I wouldn’t have to follow any rules, no collecting visas, no paying money for anything. Everything would be free. My dream is to visit every country on the planet, collect a piece of rock, sand, leaf, flower or anything unique from ...

I Document My Life Because I’m Afraid to Forget It 😄

Image
Everyone, at some point in their life, has felt that quiet, unsettling fear, the possibility that one day they might forget everything. The people they once held close, the moments that once felt infinite, the memories that shaped them, all fading into nothing. It’s a feeling we’ve seen in movies, read in stories, and sometimes, felt too personally to ignore. I am one of those people. I have always been someone who prefers to document life, not out of habit, but out of fear. A quiet fear that someday, I might forget someone who once meant everything to me, or lose memories that I once lived so deeply. To hold onto those fleeting moments, I turned to diary writing. For three to four years during my school days, I wrote consistently, pouring my days, my thoughts, my emotions into pages, believing that as long as they were written, they would never truly disappear. But life changed. Unforeseen circumstances pulled me away from that habit, and slowly, I stopped writing. And with that, a st...

Where My Hands Learn to Heal ✏️✨

Image
Ever since I was a child, my hands have always reached for something to draw, random objects, quiet desires, things I saw and things I wished for. Somewhere along the way, I stopped, as if life asked me to put that part of myself away. But art has a strange way of finding its way back. Now, it returns to me in the most unexpected moments. I draw when I am bored, when I am tired, when my body aches and my mind feels heavy. I draw when I cannot carry my thoughts anymore. It doesn’t ask me why. It simply lets me be. I was never the kind of artist people admire at first glance. My lines were unsure, my sketches imperfect. But I kept going, tracing pieces of the world around me, borrowing inspiration from strangers on screens and the Pinteresty things, turning them into something quietly mine. Not to be seen. Not to be praised. Only to feel a little less restless inside. There are days when the lines don’t listen to me. Especially faces, they resist me. I can shape t...

The art of creating something out of nothing ✨

Image
.Ever wondered what you could create out of something that seems completely useless? Something so beautiful and unbelievable that people wouldn’t believe it was made from what was once considered absolute waste? I’m the kind of person who collects all these things from my home, old boxes, sponges, ribbons, paper, and whatever else I can find. I’m often called a “scrap collector” by my parents. It does sound funny, but the effort I put into turning scrap into something unbelievable is what truly matters here. The first craft I’m proud of was made using cardboard and the sponge that comes with shirts we buy from stores. I had an interest in dolls and miniatures from a very young age. Of course, we’ve all had that phase where we were fascinated by miniatures, and those YouTube channels where they cook tiny food using mini vessels. Coming back to my craft, I used cardboard and sponge to make a small sofa for my toys to sit on. Back then, my parents did buy toys for me, but th...

A letter to my younger self

Hi raya, hope you're doing good.. this is you from the future.. i hope that you are happy, but still I would like to tell you something which might make you surprised or maybe learn many things from me..  The first thing I want you to learn is that you should always be ready to let go of people.. Because people who leave you making you desperate for them come to your life only to teach a lesson.. that's kind of like a crash course experience in personality development for you and so If people leave you don't care... because if those people can leave you easily without even thinking about you and thinking about whether you will be hurt by them, why should you do their role instead ? Are you practicing monoacting?  So the 1st thing I told you was to let go of people when they leave you too because u can't carry it as a burden for too long and sometimes it's good to get some weight off your shoulders and one more thing is you should never leave people who hold on to yo...
